Soul's horses

Recently, it was explained to me that the ability to learn comes from the soul, which uses the brain (and the whole body) as a tool—one that sees, hears, speaks, and so on.

The soul carries out all of this activity. I was told that before birth, the soul is given a certain number of "horsepower," depending on how demanding its life task will be. During life, it learns how to control and use this power. But what are these "horses under the hood" actually for? With this question, I turned once again to the Master.

Question:
How would you describe what it really means to "have horsepower"? And how is it determined how much of it someone has?

Answer:
The number of horses simply means your drive, strength, talents, uniqueness, the ability to lead, manage, teach, explain, help others, to be sensitive to yourself or to people. It is the ability to sacrifice yourself in the name of God, a Guru, or the Creator. To have understanding for someone, and so on.

The fewer horses someone has, the more they live in matter, and the more they flounder in unnecessary things. Even so, there can be exceptions among people with few horses—because they may be very sensitive and self-sacrificing. You can easily observe this around you without being told from above. The opposite is also true: when people with a great number of horses have a huge ego, they behave as if they had very few.

Don't look for science in this. It's like having a very powerful, well-equipped car but driving it at half throttle and using only the basic features. If you drove at full throttle and used all the comfort and capabilities available to you, you would be on a completely different path. On the other hand, someone with fewer horses may be driving almost at full capacity and using every feature, because their inner "fire" pushes them to the maximum and they enjoy everything they have.

Question:
So someone who has a strong fire element within them is driving at full throttle?

Answer:
Yes, you could say that. It is important to mention that if a soul is moving at full capacity and is not being suppressed (by ego or by its environment), then it fulfills its life task with joy and from the heart. Everything it does is done with love for itself and for others, and it is willing to do much more in the life it lives—both for itself and for others. It may also be capable of accepting a much more difficult task, one that is blessed, and it is given much more to work with. Additional tasks are added, and with them, additional horses.
